US Military MRE Meals Case A & B

MREs are provided to United States Armed Forces for nutrition during field operations. MREs were adopted in the 1980s and followed the C & K rations of WWII and MCI meals of Korea and Vietnam. Each MRE provides an average of 1,250 calories (13% protein, 36% fat, and 51% carbohydrates) and 1/3 of the Military Recommended Daily Allowance of vitamins and minerals. MREs are designed for long term storage and packaged very well. If stored under the correct conditions shelf life is estimated between 5 -7 years & up to 10 years if stored in cool dry conditions. All cases have a born on date and a 3-year inspection date. The date on an MRE is the “inspection date” rather than an expiry date. The inspection date is 3 years after the meal was packed. It’s used as a reminder for the US Military to check that the meal’s packaging is sound.You will be shipped (2) cases of MREs (case A & case B) containing total of 24 Meals Ready to Eat, 12 meals per case. These are great for being prepared for natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, or camping with your buddies. Case A: Chili, Beef BBQ, Chicken Noodles W/ Veggies in Sauce, Spaghetti w/Beef Sauce, Chicken Chunks, Beef Taco, Brisket Entree, Meatballs & Marinara Sauce,Beef Stew, Chili & Macaroni, Veggie Crumbles with Pasta in Taco Sauce, Macaroni with Tomato Sauce.

Case B: Cheese Tortellini in sauce,Spinach Fettuccine in cream sauce, Mexican Chicken Stew, Chicken Burrito bowl, Pork Sausage patty maple flavor, Beef Ravioli with meat sauce, Beef patty with Jalapeno pepper jack, Hash brown potatoes with bacon, pepper & onions, Lemon pepper tuna, Asian style beef with veggies, Peperoni pizza, Southwest style black bean meal.

Generally, a MRE contains the following items:

• Entree - The main course, such as spaghetti or beef stew
• Side dish - Rice, corn, fruit, or mashed potatoes, etc.
• Cracker or Bread
• Spread - Peanut butter, jelly, or cheese spread
• Dessert - Cookies or Pound Cakes
• Candy - M&Ms, Skittles, or Tootsie Rolls
• Beverages - Gatorade-like mixes, cocoa, dairy shakes, coffee, tea
• Hot Sauce or Seasoning - In some (NOT ALL)  MREs
• Flameless Ration Heater - To heat the entree
• Accessories - Spoon, matches, creamer, sugar, salt, chewing gum, toilet paper, etc.

Shipping Note: These are well boxed & sealed by the US Military for long term storage. We will ship the 2 cases in a third outside shipping box to further protect your MREs from tampering or shipping damage. Shipping will be $25.00 via Fedex. These will only ship to the address listed as the billing address for your credit card. We will not ship to a secondary address.
